Elysium International

At Elysium International, ensuring the safety of our clientele is of unquantifiable importance to us. We fully acknowledge the high monetary value of transactions on the luxury marketplace and have compiled a list of ways to maintain your safety and peace of mind.
Use a reputable company
When determining a companies validity, common sense goes a long way. If the email responses are intermittent at best or riddled with grammatical errors, please look elsewhere. At Elysium, we scrutinise both buyers and sellers thoroughly in our vetting process whilst using 'McAfee Secure' software to further increase your online safety. Additionally, check to see if the company is registered, as a rule of thumb Limited Businesses tend to be safer than Sole Traders as they tend to be more established.
Communicate
Communication is key. When negotiating as either a buyer or seller, you should expect to give and receive responses quickly generally speaking the same day. By doing this you will maintain clear lines of communications enabling you to resolve misunderstandings and convey or understand the niche aspects of a luxury item. As always, if your negotiating partner does not adhere to this, then it's time to walk away.
Inspections
A second opinion from an informed third party can be invaluable. Once you've negotiated a price as either the buyer or seller then it's a good idea to get your item valued independently. Misrepresentation is a big issue given the significant transactions involved so it's important to ensure both parties are satisfied before closing the deal. Sellers shouldn't be put off by simple requirements such as an inspection given the high sums involved in the luxury marketplace.
Protect Your Funds
At 'Elysium', we will never ask you to transfer funds into our accounts, as a third party, our job is simply to connect buyers with our extensive network of sellers. 'Elysium' only sources sellers that require the full funds only when the item has been shipped
and satisfies the customer. Likewise, sellers are protected as proof of funds are verified in advance removing the risk of non-payment.
Common Sense
When it comes right down to it, most buyers and sellers are better at recognising potential fraud than they realize. If either party is difficult to contact, refuses to answer additional simple questions, or throws down unreasonable demands it may simply be time to walk away. And, as always, if something seems too good to be true, it probably is.
